Cairn A. Moore


Cairn is a director and playwright. She teaches performance at the University of Winnipeg and is Associate Artistic Director of FemFest. Cairn’s award winning play SHIKSA premiered with Winnipeg Jewish Theatre in 2016 and was short-listed for the Chris Johnson Award. Breaking Through, Cairn’s second play co-written with Hope McIntyre, premiered in May 2017 with Sarasvati Productions. Their first play Jail Baby, was both produced (Sarasvati) and published (Scirocco) in May 2013. With the generous support of the Manitoba Arts Council, Cairn is currently in the process of writing a second draft of her new play STIGMA.
