Liam Zarrillo is a theatre artist, poet and lifelong student. He is constantly inspired by the compelling and progressive art and activism in Winnipeg, MB. The past few years have found him working for Winnipeg’s professional theatres, as well as developing new work with his independent theatre company, Make/Shift Theatre. Through this, he has garnered a fascination with the dissecting and development of traditional theatre, the devising of original and collaborative work, and the intriguing outcomes derived from blending the two. Within his work as a director, writer, deviser and performer, Liam is always an advocate for the representation of LGBTQ* folks and the diverse communities with which they intersect.
