SARASVATI Artistic Director teaches at PTE SCHOOL
Hope McIntyre, Artistic Director of Sarasvati Productions, has just completed another successful FemFest and is now preparing to teach this year’s Playwriting Class at PTE School. Hope has been teaching playwriting at PTE School for many years and has helped many new and established writers develop their playwriting skills. This year’ playwriting class will begin on Monday October, 06 with a special visit from respected Canadian playwright, Catherine Banks.
In the Playwriting Class, Hope will teach you how to develop characters and plots and structure dramatic scenes. Develop your creative ideas into script form or polish an existing script. Your work will be read and discussed as you move towards a completed draft of your play. You will be expected to do some writing outside of class time. Scenes from students work will be read by professional actors in a public presentation.
